Thunder (reprise) | Snug Harbor
Presented by Snug Harbor Cultural Arts Center and Botanic Garden Saturday, June 25 at 5PM Reception & 6 PM Performance followed by moderated discussion Thunder by Tatyana Tenenbaum examines the transformative power of the voice to enact multiple states of sensation, action and meaning. Performers simultaneously create and alter their environment throughthe tasks of singing and moving. We will investigate pitch, timbre and phonemic resonance as felt experiences, bringing this awareness to small, interactive scores that allow us to harness musical relationships as newly embodied material.
